Built to complement the BB4C race equity assessment, BB4C Pro for Consultants offers a dashboard with digital tools & resources, technical assistance provided by BMP staff, and opportunities for peer learning and practice. BB4C Pro Onboarding Information

Building Movement Project’s Race Equity Assessment Team will provide virtual training and onboarding support to ensure consultants can successfully use BB4C Pro with their nonprofit clients. The process outlined below provides an overview of registration and onboarding.

Registration

Consultant submits registration form to access BB4C Pro & receives an automated confirmation email.

Submission Review

Race Equity Assessment Team reviews submission & schedules consultant intake & training.

Onboarding

The Race Equity Assessment Team conducts BB4C Pro training & onboarding. Consultants should anticipate participating in two 60-minute training sessions.

Access BB4C Pro

Consultant gains access to BB4C Pro Dashboard through credentials provided by BMP.

Opportunities to participate in practice & learning collaboratives to build capacity through the exploration of best practices, sector-level assessment findings, and contribute to the enhancement of BB4C.

  • BB4C is an assessment designed to help nonprofits build the foundation to foster more racially equitable workplaces. BB4C equips organizations with the insights to understand their culture and build more aligned teams. Organizations receive access to an anonymized digital survey, custom reports, and robust resources to accelerate their development and more effectively meet the communities' needs.

    BB4C Pro is a resource designed specifically for consultants and capacity-building professionals using BB4C with their nonprofit clients. Built to complement the BB4C race equity assessment, BB4C Pro offers a dashboard with digital tools, technical assistance provided by BMP staff, and opportunities for peer learning and practice.

  • Our robust assessment process is much more than an anonymized staff survey and custom report. Testing confirmed that organizations committed to building racially equitable workplaces need substantial support as they aim to understand their current barriers to becoming a more inclusive workplace. To that end, we developed and tested a robust digital library of tools and resources that complement the assessment process. These wraparound materials range from tutorial videos, worksheets, sample meeting agenda templates, and vetted national resources to assist the organization through the assessment process.

  • Consultants do not have to pay to use BB4C Pro and are not required to purchase the BB4C race equity assessment directly; their clients must acquire BB4C through the website or an alternative payment method arranged by Building Movement Project. Consultants may incorporate the cost of the BB4C assessment into their consulting contracts based on an agreement with their client organizations. The BB4C assessment is offered on a sliding scale based on the size of the nonprofit organization's annual budget.

  • BB4C and BB4C Pro complement the work of consultants and capacity-building professionals. The research-backed assessment and consultant resource suite can be easily incorporated into existing processes and workflows. When appropriate, consultants can utilize the BB4C assessment rather than creating individual client surveys requiring manual analysis and report compilation. BB4C offers an anonymized staff-wide survey, automated custom report generation, and practical tools to assist consultants when needed. The BB4C custom report can be seamlessly paired with supplemental governance, stakeholder, and client engagement findings to help paint a complete picture of the organizational culture and operating practices. Consultants can use BB4C with individual organizations and cohorts.
